Agency Wins Two NonProfit PRO 2015 Gold Awards

PLYMOUTH, MA – February 19, 2016 –  received two NonProfit PRO 2015 Gold Awards for direct response fundraising campaigns produced on behalf of their clients. The awards spotlight the agency’s effectiveness in working with operating budgets both under and above $10 million.

The first gold award received was in the Direct Mail Acquisition category (operating budget under $10 million) for the agency’s Chimp Haven acquisition appeal. This campaign was the first of its kind for the client, and included the challenge of building a donor list from scratch. “Such initiatives are often met with trepidation by non-profits that don’t have a robust program in place,” said Debbie Merlino, President of DMW Fundraising. “But these appeals lay the foundation for future growth, which is why we put so much emphasis on selecting the right lists and geography.” Read more about the Chimp Haven campaign here.

The second gold award received was in the Special Appeal category (operating budget $10 million or over) for the agency’s Philadelphia Zoo fall matching gift campaign. The campaign challenge was to generate more dollars from exisiting members to take advantage of a matching gift opportunity.
